I had the chance to check out the 2025 Illuminations at the Arboretum and as usual it did not disappoint. My friend and I were fortunate enough to go on a night when there was just enough snow to make everything the perfect amount of winter and magic with all of the lights. My fingers may have almost frozen off, but it was worth it for the shots I captured.

This interview by Ezra Klein of the New York Times was fascinating as they looked at Musk’s journey and transformation into who he is today. The section about his upbringing in South Africa and how that’s a shared experience with others like Peter Thiel and David Sacks was eye-opening as whites are the minority in that country and how it’s perhaps shaping their worldview today.
